A visit to New Harmony with Grandma and Grandpa Codella

Today we drove to New Harmony, between St. George and Cedar City, Utah, with Grandma and Grandpa Codella.

They own four acres there where they plan to build their retirement home in 2009.

We drove up to meet with their architect from California. He drove up last night and this morning and the two of us met at the Texaco in New Harmony — the town’s only commercial establishment that I’m aware of.

The two of them spent some time with the architect while I entertained the kiddies. Vickey was home doing weekend things and then working her shift at Wyndham.

Here’s a panoramic view of the property, going from the view to the east to the view to the north. These are taken from the approximate place where their home will be built.
