About

Pete Codella - March 2017

I’m a fortunate husband, a proud father, and a lifelong storyteller. Whether I’m building brands, hosting a podcast, or performing on stage, I thrive on connection and creativity.

Professional Journey

Currently, I serve as the chief marketing officer for Gordon Milar Construction, leading marketing strategies for one of Utah’s premier custom homebuilders. After a rewarding chapter as a managing director at the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, I’ve returned to the private sector to help shape the future of residential construction.

In addition to my corporate role, I manage Codella Enterprises LLC, providing strategic marketing consulting for a select group of clients. You can also connect with me on LinkedIn for more professional updates.

I hold an MBA from the University of Utah and a BA from Brigham Young University.

The Entangled Show

I love exploring the intersection of technology and humanity as the co-host of the Entangled Show. Alongside my co-host and friend, Sumit Parashar, we dive into the fascinating world of ‘quantonomy’ and make complex topics accessible to everyone.

#Pete’s Treats

By night (and on weekends), I’m a “baker extraordinaire.” What started as a hobby has evolved into #Pete’s Treats, my personal brand for home-baked creations. From specialty cakes to holiday favorites, I love the science and art of baking. You can see what’s currently coming out of the oven on Instagram.

Life Off the Clock

When I’m not in the boardroom or the kitchen, you can usually find me:
  • On Stage: I perform in semi-professional and community musical theater productions once or twice a year (often at Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy).
  • At the Workbench: I’m an avid woodworker and home improvement enthusiast—there is always a project underway at our home in South Jordan.
  • With Family: My wife, Vickey, is a dedicated special education teacher at Herriman High School. Our daughter is in New York City, and our son is serving as a U.S. Marine. We share our home with a 10-year-old aussiedoodle named Jetson.

Feel free to connect with me on just about any social media platform.
