Day 60 of my full-time mission
Area: Layton, Utah (Layton Stake)
Well, I didn’t get to sleep on time, so I slept in. I know, that’s awful, but I got eight hours of sleep. I got in some good studying this morning, though. I went over my talk, the one I gave last week. I’m speaking tomorrow. At least I can use it again.
I like this area a lot. We can always do something. But maybe it’s my companion. Anyway, we proselyted all morning and then were given $10 for lunch. So we went to Wendy’s. That was nice, huh? That’s the second time that’s happened to me. I’m going to support the missionaries wherever I live.
Tonight we had a dinner appointment and had such a great time. It was with a couple that was older, had five kids, and the youngest is now 17. We talked for about an hour about their courtship days. It was so much fun. It reminded me of the Y last year.
I’m having a good time, but doing the work.
