We were staying at a hotel in Price and visiting with Charley in Helper last weekend. On Saturday we ate a great home cooked meal followed by a birthday cake surprise for Charley.

Today’s his actual birthday. Happy birthday, Charley!

The real surprise came last Saturday night when Charley’s artwork entered in the Helper Art Festival won third and first place prizes, garnering about $1,800 in prize money. It was a great moment to witness and we were glad to be there to support Charley. Way to go!
