Yesterday we hosted a birthday bash for Eliana. She and a dozen or so friends swam at the Coglianese pool for an hour then came to our place for lunch, opening presents and birthday cake. It was fun and we pulled it off without any injuries.

As usual, Ellie came away with plenty of presents. Thanks everyone! Both her grandparents sent packages that we opened yesterday morning and she was able to speak with all of them too.

That reminds me of a story Vickey related: Dominic was playing last week and had an old cell phone in his pocket. Vickey asked what was in his pocket and he said “grandma and grandpa.” Guess he’s used to speaking with grandmas and grandpas on the phone. Cute!

We went out to dinner last night to celebrate Ellie’s big day.

It was a very fun day spent as a family.
