New Harmony strikes chord with Pete and Madeline

Well, according to my mom’s email this morning, their offer to purchase property in New Harmony, Utah was accepted.

Her email:

This is an OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! We have a PROPERTY DEAL in Harmony Heights, Utah!!
We signed the papers last night via e-mail transmission, so we should be the new owners soon. Now all the paperwork begins, with financing procedures, etc.
But it’s a done deal.

Now begins the fun part of planning to build a retirement home there. But even if that doesn’t come to fruition, I’m sure the land will be a good investment for them.

So, a hearty congratulations to mom and dad!

Too bad we didn’t get Eliana’s congratulations song recorded for the blog. Mom will have to tell you about it, dad.
