This morning at the PRSA conference we heard from Meet the Press moderator, Tim Russert. I was impressed with his forthright analysis of America’s political situation.
He had some good thoughts on the 15 or so candidates running for president.
He didn’t endorse any one of them but talked about the four or five of the front runners.
Mostly he stressed the importance of motivating and activating the American public to get involved in the debate, insist candidates answer difficult questions and provide details on what they’d do in office, and vote.
He also talked about his experience writing Big Russ & Me, his New York Times best seller. It sounds like a great book and I look forward to reading it.
