Back To School
Today was Eliana’s back-to-school day.
There was a morning assembly and then a short meeting with her teacher. I went and picked up all the instructions and information from the school since Vickey also started with her students this morning.
It’s so weird that summer is gone!
I snapped a few pictures while I was there. I’ll include some of them below.
Ellie was dressed in her new school clothes and looked very cute. She was both excited and unsure of what to expect. We saw and talked with lots of parents and kids from our ward and neighborhood. I’m not sure why, but school here has a different feel than it did in Henderson – it’s more comfortable, or something like that.
I’m glad I was able to go with Eliana this morning. I think she likes her school, so that’s good.
These are Eliana’s teachers at Oak Hills. Her first grade teacher, Mrs. Byrd, is on the left. Her teacher this year, Mrs. Thompson, is on the right.
