Summer Quest

At the beginning of the summer I set a goal for myself:

To be able to run without stopping from our home up to the top of the street that runs into Bountiful Boulevard, the highest, furthest eastern road in our neighborhood. It’s the street on which the LDS Bountiful Temple is situated.

Tonight, I accomplished my summer quest! Woo hoo!

Yes, I’m pretty proud of my accomplishment.

But, lest you see me and be disappointed, here’s a disclaimer:

The fact that I made it without stopping is in no way indicative of my current physical condition. In fact, I’ve put on a few pounds and need to keep exercising to get them off and get back to my ideal weight. Such is life!

Still, I’m pretty darn proud of the fact that I did it! I accomplished what I set-out to accomplish at the beginning of the summer.

Happy, Happy

And while I’m blogging, here’s a shout out to my folks, celebrating 41 years of marriage together. And to my sister who just keeps getting older. Happy birthday, Angie!
