Day 38 of my full-time mission
Area: Afton, Wyoming

I got up at 6:30 a.m. and got ready. Gatlin slept until 7:30, so I got to study. We had two teaching appointments today. It was good. One guy, Peter, works at a mental health center and has his master’s in phycology. As far as he’s concerned, there’s no right and wrong, just individual choice. I think I was able to tell him that he really need to think about that, because it’s not right.

To God, there is a right and a wrong. It almost got contentious, but not quite. I need to watch that. But, earlier in our discussion I did feel inspired to say a few things I think the Holy Ghost was there until O started thinking of how to prove him wrong. There’s a learning lesson for me.

I got a letter from Mark and Mom. They were both great. Mom and Dad have bene packing up grandma’s house. They’re getting a lot of stuff from it. The house will look different when I get home.

I really love reading about the gospel. It’s so great.

My Scripture: Amos 3:7 — Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets
