Here are some photos from the day we decided at noon to go out to the place where the loggers left their remains and gather a few logs to line Gordon’s driveway.

It was a hot afternoon but we managed without too much trouble to round up three two-foot logs and one long 25 foot log (grandpa had to cut off all the branches).

The kids and Vickey had fun exploring and I only got a little sap on my shorts, now a permanent reminder of our logging day at the cabin.
