Day 10 of my full-time mission
Area: Missionary Training Center, Provo, Utah

I was pretty tired this morning. We had individual scripture study for an hour this morning. I love that time because I really can concentrate, and the Book of Mormon is such a great book!

It was a very pretty day today. We took a walk tonight and I got a few pictures of us up by the temple.

We had a testimony meeting in class tonight and it was very powerful. It brought each of us closer together, I think. Man, I love these guys.

I talked with John a little today. He’s doing good. He says he feels like he’ll never learn all this stuff though, but he will.

I’ve come to realize that I’m a little more advanced than most of these guys, intellectually. That, I find very surprising, because I’ve never thought that I was the “smart” type. But, my reading and comprehension skills are pretty good. I don’t say that to be boastful. It just came to mind recently, and it surprised me.

The routine around here is getting tiring. I feel like I need to be able to have more time to study the discussions and their accompanying scriptures. Tomorrow, we’re teaching the second discussion and we haven’t done that before.

Today we had a teacher evaluation where we taught the second discussion to first week elders. They were impressed, but we really didn’t do great. But, we did all right. I’m getting a little frustrated working with my companion because I can’t always do things my way. But I’ll have to get used to it. I still love him though!
